There are number of reasons that can cause stomach aches ranging from cramping , gastric problem , improper digestion  or acidity.  It is difficult to work or to concentrate on anything , when you have a bad stomach. Here are some of the best home remedies that have proven to be very beneficial to cure stomach aches. But if your bad stomach continues for more than 3-4 days, please consult a doctor and cure it fast.

1. Peppermint

Mint is beneficial when you are facing the problem of indigestion. Peppermint relaxes the stomach muscles and helps in the proper flow of the food. There are 2 ways of using peppermint .

a) You can chew the fresh mint leaves and it will help.

b) You can boil 2-3 mint leaves with some water and sip that water throughout the day 5-6 times . It will give you instant relief.

2. Ginger

Ginger contains gingerols and shogaols. These chemicals helps in relieving the stomach muscles. Ginger is very helpful in nausea also. Boil some ginger with half glass of water for 2-3 minutes . Add some mixture to it afterwards for taste and drink it 3-4 times a day.

3. Soda and Lime

Soda has proven to be one of the most effective and fastest remedy to cure stomach ache. Mix half cup of soda with half lime and drink it twice a day. The carbonation in Soda will make your burp and will help in relieving pressure in the stomach.

4. Hot Bag

A proven fact , heat is the best way to relief any pain. Fill some water in a bottle wrap it in a cloth and keep it on your stomach. Warm water will help to relax and loosen up the the stomach muscles and gives you relief.

5. Chamomile Tea

Chamomile is very helpful during stomach cramps. Put 1 tea bag in a cup of water and drink morning and evening till you pain goes.

6. Rice Water

A bland diet is recommended during stomach aches , ulcer , nausea . Rice Water is one of the bland food. Wash 1 cup of rice , then boil the rice in 3-4 cups of water for 20 min. Take out the water , add some honey honey and black pepper for the taste and drink it 2-3 times a day.

7.  Fennel Seeds

If your stomach ache is because of indigestion or gas, chewing fennel seeds can be very useful. Fennel seeds are not recommended for pregnant ladies.

8. Yoghurt

Yoghurt is useful in stomach aches caused by indigestion , cramps or acidity. It gives a soothing effect to your belly.

9. Drink More Water

It goes without saying but water is the easiest remedy you can take. Try to drink atleast 2-3 litres of water everyday . Not only when you have stomach problem but on a daily basis also , make it your habit.
