1. Drink more water

Use a steamer to blow some steam into your nose. Cover your head with a towel , inhale through your nose and exhale from mouth. Perform this for 10 min. , 2-3 times a day , till you don’t get relief from cough.
3. Gargle with Salt and Hot Water
Boil half glass of water , add half teaspoon of salt to it. Gargles help in fast relief.
4. Milk with Honey
Regular coughing causes pain in chest. Hot milk and honey mixture will give instant relief to the chest pain. The best time to have this mixture is half and hour before sleeping .
5. Carrot Juice
One of the best and the yummiest home remedy to cure cough. Make juice of 3-4 carrots and drink it for 6-7 days till you get some relief.
6. Honey , Ginger and Black Pepper
Make a mixture of these 3 ingredients and take it 4-5 teaspoons/day for a week. It is one of the fastest cough relief option present in every home.
Cut an Onion and boil it in the water . Breathe in the vapours to stop some coughing.
Boil 1-2 cloves of garlic , add some honey to mixture and drink it till your condition improves.
It is the most popular way of fighting cough . Boil a piece of ginger with the water and drink it 2-3 times a day. Ginger is best to cure chest pain , congestion and coughing. You can also add some lemon to mixture .
Almonds are rich source of number of nutrients . They along with helps in getting relief from other infections also. Soak 6-7 almonds in water for 10 hours , take them out , remove the upper layer and eat them.
Peppermint helps in soothing the throat and breaks down the mucus. You can drink peppermint tea or put some peppermint leaves in the water and inhale the vapours .
